Race Appeals
City Runs believes in fair and meaningful competition and takes all race appeals seriously.
If you wish to appeal a race result, disqualification, time penalty, or any decision affecting your result, you must submit your appeal using the form below.
Formal appeals will only be accepted in writing via this form. Verbal appeals or discussions with officials on race day will not constitute a formal appeal and will not be determined at the event.
This process enables us to properly review the circumstances, consider all available evidence, and, where appropriate, seek advice before reaching a decision, rather than making a rushed judgement on the day.
Appeals should be submitted as soon as possible after the race and, in all cases, within 48 hours of the event.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a result or decision will be changed. Each appeal will be considered on its own merits using the available evidence, UK Athletics Rules, the City Runs Race Rules, and the judgement of the Race Director and Event Officials.
For complex matters, we may seek guidance from the relevant governing body before reaching a final decision.
Please provide as much detail as possible to assist our review.
