Friday Night Track Extravaganza
Mark your calendars and lace up your running shoes because on the evening of Friday 27th September, 2024, Exeter Arena is set to come alive as runner of all ages and abilities gather for an event that promises not just speed, but a celebration of community and perseverance.
The action kicks off at 7:15 pm with the Under 11 Boys and Girls & Under 13 Boys and Girls 1-mile race. Witness the next generation of runners take their first strides towards a future of athletic achievement. The mile races embody the essence of youthful exuberance and determination, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.
At 7:30 pm, the spotlight shifts to the Seeded 3km Track Races, a showcase of precision, strategy, and outright speed.

📒 UKA Licenced - Time eligible for Power 10
⏱️ Graded races suitable for all abilities in a safe traffic free environment.
📍 Exeter Arena Athletics Stadium
Permitted Footwear - under UKA rules the maximum height/thickness of shoe sole is 25mm, this means most of the new carbon racing shoes are not allowed. Final decision on permitted shoes will be made by track officials.

Entry Fee Per Race: Mile £7.50 - 3k U17 £9 & 17+ £12.50
Age Groups/ Minimum Age: Age group cat will be based on runners age on 31 Aug 2023. Under 11’s - Mile therefore should be 10 or under on the day. Minimum age for the 3k is 13 - Under 15 Agre group.
Showers/Changing: Under Grandstand at track
Timing & Results: Will be available here post race.
Scoring: This will be a 'stand alone' event and not part of a series.
Prizes: We will award prizes for first 3 past post in each seeded race, regardless of age or gender.
First Aid: This will be provided by Devon EMS.
