Friday Night Lights
Join us for an evening of track racing at Exeter Arena, where runners of all ages and abilities will come together to enjoy a well-supported and inclusive event in a safe, traffic-free setting.
The evening begins at 7:10pm with the 1200m races for Under 12 and Under 14 Boys and Girls – a chance to see young athletes enjoy the sport and gain valuable experience in a friendly and encouraging environment.
At 7:20pm, attention turns to the Seeded 3K Track Races, designed to cater for a wide range of standards. With graded heats based on ability, every participant has the opportunity to run competitively alongside others of a similar pace.
Whether you're aiming for a new personal best or simply want to enjoy the atmosphere of a well-organised track meet, the Exeter 3K and Mile Races offer something for everyone.

📒 UKA Licenced - Time eligible for Power 10
⏱️ Graded races suitable for all abilities in a safe traffic free environment.

Please note: Due to changes to England Athletics age groups and maximum permitted race distances, the U12 and U14 races will be 1200m (instead of 1 mile) this year. The 3000m races are open to U16 athletes and above only.

Age Groups/ Minimum Age: Age group cat will be based on runners age on 31 Aug 2026.
Showers/Changing: Under Grandstand at track
Timing & Results: Will be available here post race.
Scoring: This will be a 'stand alone' event and not part of a series.
Prizes: We will award medals for first 3 past post in each seeded race, regardless of age or gender.
First Aid: This will be provided by Dartmoor Ambulance Service.
