Exmouth 5K

• Race HQ: Race HQ will be City Runs Van based by Start / Finish (What 3 Words: TBC).

• Race Packs: Race numbers will be available to collect on the night.

• Race Car Park: Pay & Display Exmouth Seafront

• Entry & Race Limit: Pre-entry online is required, no on the day entry will be available. Capacity will be limited.

• Minimum Age: 15 years old

• Toilets, Changing and Showers: The will be no official race toilets - there are public toilets available close to the start/finish, they close at 8.30pm

• First Aid: First Aid will be covered by Dartmoor Ambulance Service

• Cancellation Policy:

  • Once we have committed to organising the series we incur costs, therefore we will not be able to offer refunds - entries rolled over to Summer 5k or another race.

  • Due the event being a Winter seafront series we could be effected by bad weather, we will always seek to strike the right balance between giving people adequate notice if we need to cancel and giving maximum chance of the race going ahead.

Finishers Reward: We have opted not to do a finishers award to keep the entry fee down.

If in the week leading up to the event very bad weather was looking likely, we would make a call on postponing the event no later than 24hours before. If we were forced to postpone, we would look for a new date later in the year. Please note we would not be able to offer refunds if runners could not attend the new date, however we would attempt to accommodate them in another of our races where possible.

From the moment we begin to organise an event, we start to incur costs. Your entry fee is invested into the cost of staging the event - everything from barriers to toilets, from printing to safety pins, from race numbers to marketing. Organising any event requires a considerable amount of forward planning, risk and expense. Therefore we are unable to offer refunds or defer entries over to the following year.

You can insure your entry via Protect Group when you enter the race - If you have selected Refundable Terms on your booking and are unable to attend your booking due to unforeseen circumstances outside of your control you may be entitled to a refund - please see full set of Refundable Terms and Conditions here. To apply for a refund, please find the instructions on how to apply in the booking confirmation email you received after payment. Please note this insurance is not provided by us and we have no control over if participants are eligible for a refund.

We are working at ways to make our event more sustainable, here are some of the things we are implementing…

• Race pack pick up on the day.

• Water station using compostable cups (that we will compost ourselves).

• We encourages participants to recycle their race bib numbers

• We encourage runners to look at more sustainable travel, such as car sharing.
