    • Age Groups: Are determined by a runner’s age either on the day of the race or at the start of the race series, depending on the event format.

If a runner changes age groups during the course of a series, they will continue to compete and score in the age group in which they started the series. However, if the runner completes at least four scoring races after moving into their new age group, they may instead be ranked in that new age group for the series.

    • Scoring: This will be based on a runners 4 best scores out of the 6 rounds i.e. runners must do at least 4 events to be eligible to count for the series overall. AGE GROUP FOR SERIES BASED ON AGE AT BEGINNING OF SERIES.

    • Series Standings & Prize Giving: Final scoring will be based on best 4 results out of 6 - i.e you must complete 4 races to be eligible - If you compete all 6 races we will use your fastest 4 times for the series standings. We will award prizes to top 3 in each cat, where applicable - Top 3 in each age category will be awarded a medal and coloured jersey (colour dependent of finishing position!). We will send an email ASAP after final race to top 3 in each cat - this will contain a link to confirm jersey size.  There will be a strict 1 week deadline for submission, we will then get order off to printers and posted out, this may take a few weeks to get turned around, so please bear with us. Keep an eye out for the email (and please check junk mail just in case!). Medals - we will send ALL medals out with the jerseys

The age group for the series will be determined by your age on the date of the first scoring race. For example, if you move to a higher age group during the series, you will still be classified in the younger age group for scoring. However, if you move up and can score enough races to complete the series in the older age group, that’s fine. But if you have any results in the lower age group, you will be classified in that group.

We will produce a final overall set of male and female standing (inc: all age cats) and award prizes to top 3 in each

    • Series Medals: We will award a series medal to everyone who completes the series by completing 4 or more races. Please note if you finish in the top 3 in your cat you will receive a 1st, 2nd or 3rd medal. If you finish outside of the top 3 in your age cat we will award a series medal. Please note we will be unable to award these on the night as we'll need to to calculate final standings. We will endeavour to post medal out ASAP after the final races.

  • Race Counting & Eligibility

    • The best 4 race results will count towards the series standings.

    • Age groups are determined based on age at the start of the series (If a competitor moves into a new age category during the series and completes at least 4 races within that new (older) category, those results will count towards the series standings).

    • To qualify, you must complete a minimum of 4 out of 6 races.

    • If you complete all 6 races, your fastest 4 results will be used.

    Series Standings & Prizes

    • Top 3 in each age category will receive:

      • A medal

      • A coloured jersey (based on finishing position):

        • 🥇 1st – Yellow

        • 🥈 2nd – Red

        • 🥉 3rd – Green

    • An email will be sent to the top 3 finishers in each category after the final race with a link to confirm jersey size.

      • ⚠️ Deadline: 1 week from the email date.

      • Jerseys will then be ordered, printed, and posted (please allow a few weeks).

      • Check your inbox and junk mail so you don’t miss it.

    Medals

    • Everyone who completes the series (4+ races) will receive a medal.

    • If you place in the top 3 of your category, you’ll receive a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place medal instead of the general series medal.

    • All medals will be posted along with jerseys after results are finalized.

    • Please note: medals cannot be awarded on the night, as final standings must be calculated first.

    Overall Standings

    • A final male and female overall ranking (including all age categories) will also be produced.

    • Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female athletes.
